John Elk

Story

I'm the guitarist for J.A.O.W. Project and former bass player for Trigger Zone, 911 and a few others. I was originally a drummer in my early years then I started playing bass in my junior high stage band.Eventually I gravitated to guitar, played in a few garage bands and eventually I was playing gigs in bars by the time I was 16. After a few years, I joined forces with my brother and a great bunch of like-minded musicians to forge Trigger Zone into a well oiled, metal machine. We shared the stage with many big metal acts like Metal Church, Forced Entry, Sanctuary, Obituary ,Pantera, and even Rick Derringer. Trigger Zone eventually turned into the thrash/speed metal band 911 before calling it quits. After a 10 year leave from the music scene I was encouraged by my wife to play again. I found a metal brother to write some kick ass, no bullshit music with and here we are.
