What is music to you? What does it give you?

Music is a very important part of my life. Been playing since I was 10 years old and if I and to live without it I would probably be in a very bad place. What it gives me is a relief from stress, a chance to make new friends and a way to make a couple bucks.

What is your music dream?

To play music for a living. If it gets me a record deal, fine. If not, just work at it independently.

If you could change the world - what would you start with?

Getting rid of politicians. They only serve either their own parties or the super rich instead of everyone.

Which is the most memorable song from your childhood?

What's New Pussycat by Tom Jones. My parents say it was the first song that got me started in music. LOL

Who are your favorite musical artists or bands?

Robert Palmer, Dream Theater, Duran Duran, Queensryche, Power Station, Smiths, BAND-MAID

What inspires you to make music?

It depends. Sometimes I write about stuff that goes on in my life, sometimes it's random thoughts, sometimes it's a TV show that I'm watching.

What is the message you want to send with your music?

Not really a message. Just if you like it and you can dance to it that's message enough.

How do you feel when you perform in front of an audience?

Awesome, especially if you have people yelling out songs that you wrote to play them.

How do you see the musicians’ reality nowadays? What could be improved?

Everybody says that the music industry is dead but really it's not. I think it's become more specific to everybody's tastes with things like Spotify, I Tunes, Sirius XM and Pandora and the major record companies really don't know how to react to it. Best bet right now is to make your own music and promote it and sell it independently.

What do you think of Drooble?

Just joined today and it acutally looks like Facebook for musicians. Whatever comes from it we'll find out.

What frustrates you most as a musician?

When you hear other musicians in the area bad mouth other musicians. It gives a bad reputation to the local scene. If you want to make a scene better, support each other. Don't diss somebody just because they don't play the same genre of music as you or maybe thy're not the same skill level as you. Be helpful instead of being hurtful.

Do you support your local scene as a fan? How?

Whenever I can. Sometimes going out to local shows, participating in Open Mics and if a local band has a CD out, buy their CD.

What qualities should a musician nowadays have in order to get their music heard by a larger audience?

Being the the major social media sites help. If you do some research on twitter and Facebook, you can find a lot of independent radio stations to get your music on.
