Jimmy Villa’s rocker attitude, intoxicating performances, and songwriting abilities is causing a wave of excitement that is leaving Los Angeles, CA in a state of euphoric awe. Jimmy got his start in Waco, Texas; where he created his rock band: Beautiful Disturbance. With his vision, creation, and fruition coming alive through his execution, in less than four years, Jimmy received multiple opportunities to perform; these included Austin’s SXSW and The Hard Rock Cafe in Nashville, TN, as well as, other prestigious venues across Texas. As a result, the band infamously earned the nick name, “hardest working band in Texas”. The pinnacle of the band came when they received an opportunity to record a demo for Atlantic Records. In 2014, Jimmy moved to Los Angeles, CA to further pursue his musical dream. He quickly started and established his duo band, Queen of Kings. “QK”, as they became known, was a blend of pop, folk, and rock. As Queen of Kings gained a buzz, they sold out several shows in Hollywood, recorded several hot songs, and were transitioning into becoming one of the hottest acts in Los Angeles. After disbanding in 2018, Jimmy founded and began actively working on his first rock band that he would finally front himself. Going by “The Lipstix”, Jimmy filled the Hollywood clubs and ultimately put out three projects during the course of the following year. Throughout 2019, he began to experiment with Spanish lyrics, writing with a blend of sexy charisma and an upbeat tempo. In late 2019, he reconnected with Luke Mitchell, whom he’d recorded several projects through Queen of Kings. They discussed the future for Jimmy and the vision he wanted to bring to life. Jimmy wrote and recorded “Sinceramente”, which turned into a turning point in his versatile career. Blending his rocker style, flamboyant performances, and passionate lyrics, Jimmy Villa is paving his own lane in the world. With the release of his newest song (“Traicionera”), Jimmy is taking the rocker attitude into his vibrant sound that is expanding through the underground and is evolving the new age of music.
