Jerry T Yates

The Gospel With A Beat

Jerry started playing Christian Country/Christian Rockabilly back in 1979. In 1982 he was officially ordained into the Gospel Ministry, and was a pastor for 21 years, all the time keeping up his music ministry. Jerry won the 2008 Roots Music Association's Gospel Artist of the Year award and the International Country Gospel Music Association's award for New Male Vocalist of the year, Georgia, in 1994. Jerry still preaches, plays and sings every chance he gets, anywhere he can, to spread the Good News of his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ!
