What is music to you? What does it give you?

Music is the essence of life. It is fire, it is solace. It drives me to madness and soothes my soul.

What is your music dream?

To share with others. Simply put, I wish to have others hear my innermost persona as projected within my music.

If you could change the world - what would you start with?

I would start with ignorance and hatred. They seem to run hand in hand...

Which is the most memorable song from your childhood?

The Monster Mash. Damn, I'm old! Lol

Who are your favorite musical artists or bands?

You'll have to see my list above, plus SO MANY MORE!

What inspires you to make music?

I believe it is my mental instability that gives me inspiration. I suffer from Borderline Personality Disorder and have come to see it as a boon rather than a curse. I can shift seamlessly from angry to happy and to sorrowful and back to elation. I think it gives me a rather unique take on things such as life, the Universe and Everything.

What is the message you want to send with your music?

Enjoy life.

How do you feel when you perform in front of an audience?

I always have a bit of anxiety at first, but once I begin playing, the world melts away and I am alone and at one with the music.

How do you see the musicians’ reality nowadays? What could be improved?

I see that a lot of younger artists who are equally, if not even more, talented fall by the wayside at times. Music should engender hope and should never be frustrating. We could all learn how to accept what's new and embrace those awkward changes.

What do you think of Drooble?

It's pretty interesting.

What frustrates you most as a musician?

The lack of support from other artists.

Do you support your local scene as a fan? How?

I have issues with being in crowds, so I honestly cannot participate in local concerts. I would love to have a low-key supportive role though.

What qualities should a musician nowadays have in order to get their music heard by a larger audience?

Be spontaneous yet familiar. Bring something they don't expect and then hit 'em with something that feels like home.

Share some awesome artists that we’ve never heard of.

Ue-Chan from Maximum the Hormone. Fantastic bassist! The band Blind Lace. Great band, great sound.
