What is music to you? What does it give you?

Sanity. I struggled with friends and was extremely shy growing up. Songwriting was how I learned to express myself, my feelings and helped me connect with others.

What is your music dream?

To get a publishing deal and be able to write for a living.

If you could change the world - what would you start with?

Being a true friend to someone.

Which is the most memorable song from your childhood?

Fancy by Reba McEntire

Who are your favorite musical artists or bands?

Reba, Kelsea Ballerini, Taylor Swift, The Eagles, Whitney Houston

What inspires you to make music?

Emotion. That moment that you are either so angry or upset or happy that you have to capture it.

What is the message you want to send with your music?

That there is always someone that can understand what you are going through and you are never alone.

How do you feel when you perform in front of an audience?

Blessed.

What frustrates you most as a musician?

People take you for granted. They also don’t see you as a person. A lot of times if feels like you are more a fixture on the platform and so people act like they can say anything to you and you just smile.

Do you support your local scene as a fan? How?

I try to encourage others. That means investing in others and sometimes do things despite not getting paid.

What qualities should a musician nowadays have in order to get their music heard by a larger audience?

Grit. Good work ethic. Not be an entitled brat. There is always someone more talented or better than you. Be true to you because people see through the fake.
