What is music to you? What does it give you?

When I was young... a fascination. When I was learning... a challenge. When I was on the road... a paycheck. Now... a love.

What is your music dream?

Living it right now. Doing my own recording projects and playing because I want to and love to... not because I have to. It matters.

If you could change the world - what would you start with?

Just accept it and chill.

Which is the most memorable song from your childhood?

I Want to Hold Your Hand

Who are your favorite musical artists or bands?

Beatles, Zep, Clapton, Who, Stones, Yes, ELP, Badfinger, Doobie Brothers and a hundred more.

What inspires you to make music?

My love of making beautiful sounds come out of a piece of wood and some wires.

What is the message you want to send with your music?

That Jesus Christ is savior of the world.

How do you feel when you perform in front of an audience?

When I was young it was a rush. At the end of my time on the road it was a job. I'm completely content to write songs and do studio work. I'll leave roadwork to the younger guys.

How do you see the musicians’ reality nowadays? What could be improved?

SO different that it was when I started. Learning is so much more advanced. We didn't have all the videos when I was young. We weren't able to SEE how a song was being played like players do now. Beats the heck out of learning everything off a turntable.

What do you think of Drooble?

Loving it. Far superior to ReverbNation.

What frustrates you most as a musician?

Not having as much time to play as I would like. Too much "real world" getting in the way.

Do you support your local scene as a fan? How?

No, not live anyway. May go to a concert once a year or so. Back in the day... I saw ALL the good bands and opened up for quite a few!

What qualities should a musician nowadays have in order to get their music heard by a larger audience?

Be persistent and don't get side tracked. If you want to really succeed you HAVE to give it 100%. Lay off the VICES.

Share some awesome artists that we’ve never heard of.

Rory Galligher, Roy Buchannan, Tommy Emmanuel.
