I'm just making songs in my room
I love music
I hope to somehow help people with my music and help them feel some sort of solace. That's all
I would like to bring at least a little more peace to the world. Not everything needs to be a conflict
The Chemical Brothers - The Salmon Dance I didn't know it was about tripping on drugs
XXXTENTACION and Lil Peep are two of my favorite artists of the new era. Both of these people sort of formed the underground scene while they were on the rise. Mac Miller is another favorite because I think it's impossible to dislike him. He is bound to have at least one song you can enjoy. I also like some of the OGs like Cypress Hill, Eminem, and 2Pac. Some honorable mentions are blackbear, Nicole Dollanganger, Scarlxrd, Amber Olivier, and Future. I could be leaving a few people out but there are just too many to count
Literally everything. Just being alive inspires me to make music. Feeling alone? Write a song. Down bad? Make a beat. On top of the world? Record something.
You aren't alone. Whatever you're feeling, I promise you, somebody has made a song about it.
idk I've only really performed in front of my friends + whoever wandered by and saw. It's a cool feeling tho, I guess. I don't really get stage fright, I just vibe
Too many people enter the "scene" just wanting money, jewelry, a nice car, anything materialistic, whatever it may be. Not everybody makes it. If you're dedicated to the art you make, people will feel it
So far it's chill. Seems like a nice community of likeminded individuals who all want to grow and help others grow as well
What frustrates me most is that I don't know everything. I could make an insane beat, but then someone else will tell me something isn't in key. I could get everything in key, but then the mixing is bad. I could mix it good, but now it doesn't sound good in the car. I mix it again, now it sounds weird on the phone speakers. it's all a never-ending loop but that inspires me to keep learning.
I always try to support my local artists, because at the end of the day, I'd want the same thing. Whether I just buy/stream their songs, go to their shows, or even give some constructive criticism
I think a musician's qualities stem farther than just the music they create. I think they should be somebody that you can look at and say "that seems like somebody I would like to have a nice talk with." If they don't present themselves as somebody who you feel you can talk to, or they make themselves out to be a larger-than-life being, it doesn't really feel real. That's how I feel, at least
93FEETOFSMOKE - He makes so many different genres of music, mostly alternative. Check out his album SOFUBI Shinigami - He makes some insane, futuristic sounding songs. They sound straight out of a PS2 game and I love it Fats'e - If you like alternative rock, I think you'll like Fats'e And last, but certainly not least: Kyle Slater - This guy can make any genre under the sun, and make it all sound amazing. Hard hitting trap songs, jazz ballads, you name it, he can create it
