What is music to you? What does it give you?

Music is a medium for expression. If I twist my answer into something deeply personal then I might liken it to a never ending purging of unfiltered emotion, most often pain and anger. Its almost always something dark. There is just so much beauty in darkness that I thank the light for drawing a contrast.

What is your music dream?

No dreams here. It is what it is and I enjoy it in whatever way I can. If someone finds they love it then I won't deny them that, nor would I deny them their hatred of it. I really do not care either way. I play because I am driven to create and I enjoy my good friends with whom I play music with. If they have specific dreams or goals then I'm happy to help and support them in that.

If you could change the world - what would you start with?

Dangerous question so I'll be honest.... It is my feeling that religion is a cancer upon the hearts and minds of human kind. I would simply wake people from their fear and superstitions.

Which is the most memorable song from your childhood?

Wicked game- Chris Issac

Who are your favorite musical artists or bands?

Too many but.... Pink Floyd, Rush, Ottmar Liebert, Haunt, Ghost, Deicide, Motorhead, The Sword, Jonny Cash, and about 10,000 others most likely.

What inspires you to make music?

I have not the power to ignore it. Its always present and life never fails to provide writing prompts and emotional fuel. All I can do is attempt to to manipulate it into going one direction or another.

What is the message you want to send with your music?

I am aiming nothing at anyone really. Its simply cathartic lyrically and deeply emotional and self involved musically. There is blood under this skin, music inside this soul, and Both of them tend to bleed when torn.

How do you feel when you perform in front of an audience?

Curious as to what their collective perception of the music may be, and eager to share a pint with all of them.

How do you see the musicians’ reality nowadays? What could be improved?

Meh. I create my own reality and guess what? Nothing will ever be perfect.

What do you think of Drooble?

Its been interesting thus far. I really dig checking out all the other music.

What frustrates you most as a musician?

Lack of diversity. Too many musicians and fans stuck in a genre rut and unwilling to venture into other areas. I would also mention the whole pay to play thing is simply extortion. I prefer to bypass lame promoters if I can. Who needs a middle man that cannot even get people out to shows anyways? I'd rather rent the damn venue myself. And honestly I cannot stand the whole "Wearing the uniform" way of dressing up to reflect your genre.

Do you support your local scene as a fan? How?

Yes. I pay to see bands play. I buy their T's and Music. I host a Facebook page called underground bands etc.etc. For what its worth everybody can share their music on that page.

What qualities should a musician nowadays have in order to get their music heard by a larger audience?

Really? All answers to this question are way too subjective.

Share some awesome artists that we’ve never heard of.

How can I possibly know who all of you have not heard of? I know! Check out Drooble! lol There is a local Fresno area band called Haunt.. Another called Fire to the throne. A band from Michigan called Nova Blast... Check them out and check out their various pages and look at the other bands that fan them. Cheers!
