What is music to you? What does it give you?

Music is a portal to other worlds, it is a window to the soul, it is a journey, it is a challenge, it is a means to introspection, it is a shared experience.

What is your music dream?

My music dream is to produce my own music that people genuinely enjoy. I would like to get to the point where I can play my songs, or songs written by fellow band members on a stage. I am getting closer and closer to my dream every day.

If you could change the world - what would you start with?

I would end the team mentality that exists in all areas you could imagine; Politics, religion, national identity, and even music. I think that lack of familiarity and lack of exposure are the leading cause of this way of thinking. I think music is a way that can bring people together from all sorts of backgrounds, and can help to diminish the team mentality.

Which is the most memorable song from your childhood?

Origins and Endings by Winds of Plague. It is the song that got me into metal, and I have been hooked ever since.

Who are your favorite musical artists or bands?

Thank You Scientist, Polyphia, Meshuggah, Veil of Maya, The Black Dahlia Murder, Periphery, Textures, Tesseract, Gojira, Born of Osiris, After the Burial. Jacob Collier, Herbie Hancock, Wes Montgomery, Buddy Rich Big Band, Punch Brothers, Allen Stone, Chris Thile. Infinitely many more bands/artists...

What inspires you to make music?

Other people, other music, how I am feeling, paintings in a museum, silly ideas, movies, tv, everything ca give me inspiration.

What is the message you want to send with your music?

I want to express how I feel towards others. I want to make music that inspires others to be better people and better musicians. I want to draw attention to the people that take advantage of others. I want to make people laugh, cry, think, and abandon reason for a moment.
