Hey there! My name is Jared Cattoor and I am a professional musician. I grew up in St. Louis, Missouri in the USA. I studied music in 2 universities there, and then went to Musicians Institute in Hollywood CA (GIT). I have played in so many bands with different styles and have a lot of knowledge and experience with booking shows, marketing, performing, writing music, teaching, recording and really in most areas of the world of music. I love music philosophy... So much about being a great musician is how you think about music so that is really important to me. I love having solid timing and a great groove! The ear is really important to me. Being able to play anything you hear is really what we need to work on as musicians. Then you don't need any help... no tabs, sheets... Just ears. When I solo I prefer to create an idea and a melody. Then ornament the melody. Thats how a solo should be. Listen to what is in your head rather than letting your hands (muscle memory) and ego take over. Put MUSIC first :D I love playing more than anything..
