James Henes


The RRA is the brainchild of James Henes The Menace. A man who suffers from schizoaffective disorder and experiments with self mutilation and sleep deprivation in order to accomplish channeling psychic energies. The RRA is a psychedelic blues funk rock band from Chicagoland that has been around since 2009. The RRA has two published albums available on all the digital markets and hundreds of music videos and original songs uploaded to YouTube over a period of 10 years. The RRA is actively licensing their original content to the TV and film industries.

I would encourage people to stop perpetuating the belief in Armageddon.

What is the message you want to send with your music?

There will be no apocalypse man kind will evolve into the capabilities that belong to a God. We will outsmart the death of our sun. We will outsmart death. Human intelligence is greatly underestimated

How do you feel when you perform in front of an audience?

I feel so confident I am confrontational

How do you see the musicians’ reality nowadays? What could be improved?

We need to support each other more. In the 21st century album sales and profits related to sales or original content is a thing of the past. Success in music in the 21st century will be found at live performances/ or submission of truly ORIGINAL music to music licensing contracts from tv and film.
