escape, inspiration, a gateway drug, it's where I find new friends and run in to old ones. it's the opposite of a dreary life looking out the window as the world drifts by. a dynamic connection to the minds and hearts of others and a chance to share our spirits and break down the walls between strangers. music lives and breathes and loves and breeds.
to inspire action in an audience, to see their joy reflected in mine and the people I play with

attending open mics and supporting other artists and venues mostly
drive to achieve a larger audience. simply put, talent or no, making the effort to make yourself heard is all it takes. whether people keep listening and hearing is down to how you make your connection with them and there's no single right answer to that one
