Story

I have to give a huge shout out to Adam Jeffrie Nelson w/ “fromINSIDEaLION “, my music partner, for his composing and incredible writing talents. Re reunited after a 10 year break when a home recording studio was unattainable to everyone but a small few. However this is my personal music profile depicting my own opinions on music. I am drawn to intelligent lyrics which stem from any genre. I write quite a bit of political, social and controversial topics but am not one to shy from digging deep into the subconscious emo side of my makeup. I have been putting together a solo performance to take things to another level.. I have composed what’s best described as a “living song”... a song that plays specifically to the venue and grows by 5 minutes each performance by injecting a bit of each social encounter of the venue that is hosting the gig. This will literally play to any environment and the premise is the project title AudioDidactic (“a FlowState music project ” ). I connect with musicians interested in multiple tempos and aggressions the range from acoustic fingerpicking to full blown metal and everything in between... to form a music group that con play with any lineup and venue and never be out of place to the vibe of the crowd. The only issue I’m having about booking shows is that they want to hear recording of the new product and I’ve been reluctant to track it because I don’t want to fix an expectation to an undetermined version the performance will yield. Gonna have to bite the bullet and sit down for tracking some. NOTE: I open for Bookings if you’re interested please pm me.. or go to Facebook pages and search “AudioDidactic”.

What is music to you? What does it give you?

Music is the mood one wishes to create in any environment. Music is my passion, therapy, outlet for expression and hopefully a means of getting a message across to impact a positive response

What is your music dream?

To play on a national stage in front of a live audience of 40k and have someone get the chills from the message.

If you could change the world - what would you start with?

Prudentialism.

Which is the most memorable song from your childhood?

. first thing that pops in my mind is “That’s all” by Phil Collins in Genesis

Who are your favorite musical artists or bands?

Music is for the mood and that would be directly related to the moment.

What inspires you to make music?

The Expression

What is the message you want to send with your music?

balance and compassion are key! Politics are corrupt to the core and self serving at the top. United we stand divided we fall.

How do you feel when you perform in front of an audience?

Adrenaline is an awesome high and is a provocateur of serotonin! But cover coming ones fears is beneficial.

How do you see the musicians’ reality nowadays? What could be improved?

Mostly lacking of substance in the messages. That is unless you consider bullshit rhymes about bananas and bling to be of importance.

What do you think of Drooble?

So far it appears to be a valid platform for artist like myself to get our sound out. Indeed Time will tell..

What frustrates you most as a musician?

Politics.. snobs.

Do you support your local scene as a fan? How?

Yes.. I subscribe to their music pages, attend shows and maintain lasting friendships with many of the artists in my hometown. Though I can’t say I have had anyone give me the chills through anything I’ve heard come out of Bakersfield since Korn hit the scene.

What qualities should a musician nowadays have in order to get their music heard by a larger audience?

Apparently they need to be on top of their social media and make as much noise as possible.. which is a shitty thing to have to do as an artist..

Share some awesome artists that we’ve never heard of.

I don’t know what you’ve heard of or not But I can shout out to “fromINSIDEaLION”. , Pinback, Samiam, Sparta,
