Story

Started on Drums at 11 , Joined Service , at 17 , learned Guitar at 18 , it's very hard to carry drums all over the world , so Guitar became My main instrument . Could never find Vocalist , so , I started to sing , and , as they say , the rest is history , First working band was with very popular Elvis Tribute , Buddy Durbin . then in early 80's Joined popular rock band White Foxx . Awesome Band with superb Management , opened for Molly Hatchet , Mother's Finest , Doc Holliday , Nantucket to name a few . in Jan 92 have disabling pedestrian / auto accident , stroke and no movement on entire left side for 6 years , then , THANKS TO GOD and a very hard headed mentality , started learning guitar , AGAIN . Now very happy lead guitarist for local band Fat Freddy's Cat , Fayetteville , NC . our motto " JUST A DRINKING BAND WITH A ROCK AND ROLL PROBLEM ! Currently steadily gigging ! GIBSON , MARSHALL and SHURE are the primary tools of My trade !

What is music to you? What does it give you?

A very large part of My life and activities . Music For Me , keeps Me at an even keel , while keeping Me quite busy and engaged , also adding some of the happiest and most heart felt moments in My trip called " Life ".

What is your music dream?

Playing great gigs , while making people happy . It has come true , many times , so far , and still happens occasionally , now . Great gigs being , opening for Regional or National Acts in large venues .

If you could change the world - what would you start with?

I prefer not to get started , but , it has to do with the invasion of My Great Country .

Which is the most memorable song from your childhood?

hmmm , what a great question , hmmm , Innagoddadavita , Smoke on the Water , Paranoid , War Pigs , Sweet Home Alabama , Stanglehold , Cat Scratch Fever , Dust in the Wind ,,,, gosh , on and on

Who are your favorite musical artists or bands?

Sabbath , Skynyrd , Blackfoot , 38. Special , Hattchett , Tesla .

What inspires you to make music?

I did it all for the Nookie , The Nookie ! ha !

What is the message you want to send with your music?

Touch Their Emotions , happy , sad , mad , anxious , restless !

How do you feel when you perform in front of an audience?

Heaven sometimes , at work sometimes , best party in town sometimes .

How do you see the musicians’ reality nowadays? What could be improved?

Sure can't get much more support for learning and education , it's at every fingertip , The majority of musicians I deal with , these days , have good work ethics and stay of top of Their games , for the most part .

What do you think of Drooble?

I think , in My short time here , That it is growing to be a perfect platform , for all musicians , regardless of expertise or time " in the bus " can communicate with musicians of all different ages , genre's , locations , and talent levels . It also serves as a excellent location to share new and original music and idea's .

What frustrates you most as a musician?

The fact that musicians pay , for the most part , has refused to rise with inflation .

Do you support your local scene as a fan? How?

When I'm not playing , I'm supporting .

What qualities should a musician nowadays have in order to get their music heard by a larger audience?

Great work ethics , hard headed devotion .
