You Quench My Soul is the first song I ever recorded. It was inspired by Psalm 91 and 193. When I was writing it, I was thinking of how I feel about God and what He means to me. It uplifted me as I was singing it and the tune got stuck in my head. This song is catchy, the beat is relevant to the song and makes you want to dance and sing with it. Before I knew who Christ was or had a relationship with Him, I thought what does He want from me. In 2003 I experienced a traumatic family event that changed my life. I was left feeling depressed and ashamed of my family. God started speaking to me and I starting talking back to Him. Now I know all He wants is a relationship with me. He wants to love me, protect me and takes me as I am. His love and grace has changed me. This has made me want to serve Him through music. My life belongs to God and I intend on creating more music to express this to Him. In doing so..hopefully I inspire someone else, as I seek to touch the Lord`s heart.
