I come from a family of musicians. I started later than most of my siblings, not picking up the drums until I was in 7th grade. Two years after I started drumming I formed my first band with my cousin. We spent the next few years changing names and guitarists until in 2017 we finally put out our first single. About a month later my cousin announced she decided to go to college instead of taking a gap year like she had been planning and that she was dissolving "her band". Needless to say we carried on without her. Eventually creative differences did separate me and the guitarist. We've been jamming on and off for the past few years but overall the band experience has left a bad taste in my mouth. So now in 2019 I'm going at it alone writing and performing my music on my own.
Music is an escape from the worries of the world. It gives me something that makes sense when nothing else does.

Relax and take in what’s around you.
Calm and at peace.
The musicians reality is just as it get was. You can still become a star from nothing and there’s tons of really innovative music out there. Musicians need to start thinking about their craft a little more positively.
Drooble is a great place for musicians to congregate and no other platform like it exists.
Spending hours not being able to find the right mix of Instuments for a song.
I like to see local bands and go to my local open mic.
