Story

I start to play music since i was 9 years old, my influence for music since I have 7 years old, my first drums I played when i was 16, I receibe bass staff class when i was 15 and star to play accoustic guitars when I´m 13 years old, my first influences on music was elvis prestley and Beattles, follow with KISS and after that LED ZAPPELIN i start to sing The Zeppelin songs since I´m 12 years old, I always playing drums but O like many other instruments , now I have 2 dougthers and they are playing piano as good as well, than I and hope to they growth in music but out of Guatemala because Guatemala there are not opportunities, I recorded my first album in 1995 ABYSSUM "Thy Call" check out in you tube, and I have a solo project called DiatharmaThoron "Sacred Abbey " check in youtube please...seeyou around boys and thanks for this space in the universe of world music Greetings....

What is music to you? What does it give you?

music for me is my entire life ! music has given to me the best moments and feeling on my life, it takes me away from this dying world ! and I fly to the universe with my music !

What is your music dream?

keep follow with my projects and still have to record many music that I am doing Right now,

If you could change the world - what would you start with?

I am star to change my own mind before ask the world to change, My first steps every day is to help anybody to make music and to arrange thair music for me is the best thing I can do. So many people search me to help them with it and I am very glad to teach and to support the production than in metal music or rock or maybe pop why not! it is ok for me

Which is the most memorable song from your childhood?

God of Thunder from KISS.! and Your time is gonna come from Led Zeppelin! Dirty deeds.......from AC/DC, really I have several songs in my mind ...anothe r one that is classical is she is a rainbow from Rolling Stones.... Echoes from Pink Floyd... Orion From Metallica, Ides of March From Iron Maiden ....Have I bored you get?

Who are your favorite musical artists or bands?

The Doors, Led Zeppelin, Black Sabbath, CandleMass, Type O negative, Bathory, Venom, AC/DC, Rainbow, Stratovarious(firstAlbum), and off course my bands ABYSSUM "Thy Call" , SEOL, "Ascensus EP", Amalantra "The Return", between others Bach, Bethoven, Lizt, Paganini, Mozart, Wagner....etc

What inspires you to make music?

My inner feelings about the life we live for today, the obvious dying world that we are living now, the lies of people and governments, the lies of every religions, the sadness of people dying of hungry all around the world, when I am feeling Down or enfaded, and sad I right the best music than I am happy ...so I do not like to be happy because I can not made good music !

What is the message you want to send with your music?

opened minds to search yourself in the stars , and do not let the common world devours you with their stupid system of money cel and thrash foods, I promote the inner search of the man and women, like mind and soul, dark or light but out of the dying world, How to respect the nature and made magickal rituals to get your mind high as the skies and joint with our lost gods !

How do you feel when you perform in front of an audience?

I do not think about the audience ...I just made my work with my music and run my ritual itself to please myself how to do, I make an effort to play my music as the best I can, and like it was the last day on my life.... I have been too much in front of 15,000 people and more less of 100 people here in Guatemala...

How do you see the musicians’ reality nowadays? What could be improved?

I think we need promoters, brands that invest in Rock and Metal Music, here in Guatemala there are a UNCULTURAL MUSIC CALLED regueton it is the WORST music in th e hystory of humanity, people become stupid with this music so I wan to erase the music that only promote sex between teenagers , I am Disapointed with that

I do not know this is the first time I am here, best I question you what do you think of me ?

What frustrates you most as a musician?

I do not have money to made my music recordings...and thera era not brands that support metal music or rock music....here

Do you support your local scene as a fan? How?

Yes off course , I have mentioned before that I support bands from metal of my country

What qualities should a musician nowadays have in order to get their music heard by a larger audience?

I do not think in that we Metal Music heads we have our own audience METAL people is a strange and subnormal society, or a subculture, very proud and very strong around the world ...but your QUalities must have to be a good musician and good producer , have a good lyrycs and good karma to be one in a milion...
