Hugo Bento is a 25 year old musician from Spain with years behind him playing music on the streets of Spain and Japan and forming spontaneous ephemeral bands with other streets musicians. He has a classical and jazz music education, though he always refers to himself having learnt his most important music lessons by himself in a quiet environment. In his most introspective times he composed 8 songs which together make an album named 'Sounds True', where he created his own style and sound, getting rid of his old standard ways to make songs and inspiring himself with progressive, unconventional and unique artists. Coming from a humble artist family which works everyday to stay afloat selling artworks, he had never had the chance to record his music. This was until a new made friend and sound engineer 'Julius Langmeyer' offered him to produce his songs and together make an album to be proud of. Sounds True is the first album released by Hugo Bento. The music presents an introspective view of music itself and intends to be a tool for self motivation and expression of one's thoughts. The album throughout delivers originality and and a powerful attack on conventional music, to make people hear something they haven't before.
