Hill Road is a collective of six musicians, sharing life’s experiences through music. We play an energetic blend of soulful blues influenced songs with Inspirational and dynamic lyrics that speak of life. The band formed in 2010 and was an evolution from an earlier project. The members are Bob Hendren on lead and acoustic guitars, Ben Roberts on bass, Bob Mitchell on keys, Jamie Harding lead vocals, Drew Flickema on drums and guest guitarist Glenn Farley. Our sound is the powerful soulful vocals of Sam Smith with the velvety smooth lead guitar virtuoso of Eric Clapton, Piano styling’s of Elton John, and bass playing of Nathan East meets the Drumming of Animal. Our musical influences are very eclectic from, Jamie Cullum, Eric Clapton, Kim Walker, Pink Floyd, Parliament Funkadelics, and BB King for the short list. Hill Road Is currently preparing to go into the studio to record their first album. As well as playing several performances throughout the summer and fall around NW Oregon and SW Washington.
