Hey there!

It all started with a K .. Kamaria is a Costa Rican Dj whose music interest goes from Melodic to Tech house, her musical influences go from Karmaa , David Prap , Willy Real , Petja Virikko , Renato (DE) . LGBTQI community activist and fighter for women's equal rights, Kamaria's dj sets are a way to express herself through the music. Other of her interest is photography, food and traveling. Born in San José and raised in Guanacaste, she speaks three languages including French, English and Spanish. Kamaria enjoys a good sunset and a walk on the beach alongside good company and food.

The government, it needs to be more involved into protecting the animals and our forest

Kindness and self appreciation

How do you feel when you perform in front of an audience?

Nervous at first, but then i can't stop dancing with the crowd

How do you see the musicians’ reality nowadays? What could be improved?

It's really hard, we need to keep the hard work to make good music and also play good music

What frustrates you most as a musician?

Not being able to fully express myself on my sets. It estres me when someone jumps in to touch the equipment without any acknowledge of the club owner or me

Do you support your local scene as a fan? How?

As a clubber (Fan) I always go to any of my Dj friends gigs to dance with them and support them

What qualities should a musician nowadays have in order to get their music heard by a larger audience?

A good musical selection, a good technique and good communication with the crowd
