I am concerned with music - playing, composing and recording - since three decades. My work is divided between my solo stuff and the duo work with my best friend Sylvie. Our Duo is called "Samthauch" and is woth to be heard.

What is music to you? What does it give you?

It is a big part of my life. Can´t live without it, though it´s quite often rather hard to make a living with music.

What is your music dream?

Nothing special. Just making other people and myself happy.

If you could change the world - what would you start with?

Love and peace on earth. We all are family.

Which is the most memorable song from your childhood?

Hm...Maybe "Help" from The Beatles.

Who are your favorite musical artists or bands?

Too many to name all...But for sure J. S. Bach, F. Chopin, Django Reinhardt, Charlie Parker and Maestro Paco de Lucia. You won´t here their influence in my stuff, i promise...

What inspires you to make music?

Sititng behind or in front of my instruments and playing around. Well, it´s the music itself, what inspires me.

What is the message you want to send with your music?

Enjoyment.

How do you feel when you perform in front of an audience?

It depends. But most of the time it ´s a great feeling to share music with other people.

How do you see the musicians’ reality nowadays? What could be improved?

More acceptance for the work! Music is important to enjoy life, so we should get paid for our work.

What do you think of Drooble?

I like it so far.

What frustrates you most as a musician?

Being ignored too often.

Do you support your local scene as a fan? How?

Very little. But i do some promotions for friends and collegues.

What qualities should a musician nowadays have in order to get their music heard by a larger audience?

Ha. I don´t know at all.
