Hannah Marie And The Gentleman

Story

This lockdown has really tested all of us, its been a hard period of confusion and difficulty but as with everything in my life I always try to see life on the positive side, I have tried to make the most of my time and I have felt very lucky to have the privilege to be at home with my wonderful parents, my amazing partner and more than anything I finally have my brother home (from living abroad) after 5 years! But every day I think of all those on the front line and I am sure this period for them has been the toughest, most upsetting BUT most rewarding and proud moment of their lives. Saving peoples lives is their job every day but putting their own lives at risk, being away from family members and working endless hours to save an entire country is something completely out of this world!! I have 2 amazing cousins who are ICU Nurses and I feel so proud to have them in the family, I also have many friends working in the NHS and I feel so honoured to know these people but it doesn’t stop there, to every single person who has put themselves on the front line during this period we really do salute you and we feel so proud to be part of a country with such an incredible health service, it gives me goosebumps just thinking about it and it makes me feel so proud of each and everyone of you, you are all hero’s, truly! Now as you may or may not know, I am a singer and have been traveling the world singing for a long time, I am completely in love with my life as a singer, I have been so lucky to sing in so many incredible places and I am able to put my whole soul into singing because it simply comes from my heart, what a better way to release all your emotions than to sing your heart out? But what you may not know is that my brother is also an incredible artist, an inspirational songwriter and fantastic rap artist. He has kept this talent hidden for many years and only now, because of the inspiration from all the incredible NHS staff around the country we have finally decided to put our talents together along with the help of our super talented cousin (Euphex) and produce a song in honour of our nurses, doctors and all NHS staff. Me and Reece (The Gentleman) have been close since our younger days, we’ve always been best friends and through everything in our life time we have never lost that special bond, but writing and producing this song has made us closer than ever before, when we sat down on the 1st April to write this song with nothing but what we have at home, so a very simple and raw production from our small summer house in the garden, we never imagined we would be able to produce something like we have and for our first song ever we are really proud to call it our own. We are really excited to start our journey in the music world and we feel its always going to mean so much to us that its the COVID-19 and lockdown situation that inspired us to start it. This is a non profit song, with all our sales going towards the wonderful staff in the NHS and care homes directly, we really hope we can get this song to as many NHS staff as possible so we can show them our pure thanks and love towards them. This is a hard time for everyone but we just wanted to create something positive in the midst of all this negativity and I think we can all relate to this song because of the crazy, unknown, worried feelings we have all been going through lately but we just want to send the message that through everything that has been happening we can always find a hero in something, in someone, no matter who that person is for you. We have enjoyed writing this song, singing it around the house for weeks and making the video ready for you all to see. Now its time to get it out there! On the 1st of June you can download our song for all Music platforms, including Spotify, iTunes, Soundcloud and many more, you can pre-save the song now simply by clicking the link below (remember all profits are going directly to the NHS and Care Homes in the Uk as we really just want to show our support to the incredible Hero’s)
