Groove Station

Story

Ger den Haan - keyboard; Hans Greeve - drums; Carlos Breton Aguilar - bass; Ronald Arkesteijn - trumpet, flugel horn; Robert van der Laarse - saxophone; Anita Sudano - lead and backing vocals; Willaim Lainsamputty - lead and backing vocals; Herbert van Brug - guitar. Groove Station got founded in 1999 by singer Anita Sudano and guitarist Herbert van Brug just because they wanted to play music again. The last couple of years Groove Station grew to be one of the best and well-known cover bands at home and abroad and played on all kinds of parties like grand weddings, gala evenings, birthday parties, (international) open-air music festivals, music bars, impressive and high-end corporate events, student parties and so on. Almost every band member studied at a conservatory of music. The band is also asked to accompany different artists on a regular basis. Due to perfect orchestrations and a tight playing rhythm section supported by the perfect and also tight horn section and singer Alex de Meij, the songs of icons like Tower of Power and Earth Wind and Fire sound like as if they were played by the originals. Together with Anita Sudano her vocal cords made out of titanium you might think Aretha Franklin, Chaka Khan, Tamia, Mariah Carey, Gladys Knight and Donna Summer are back on stage again!
