"Nickel Bags" by "Digable Planets". Everything about the track all the way to the video just made me feel good. They got that cooled out flow, it really influenced me. Had a kid wishing he could be part of a fly ass crew, just chillin vibing out!
This changes often. However I'd like to say Digable planets, Sun Ra, and The Greatful Dead. They are timeless.
Life. Death. The beyond. A constant theme I bring up in my lyricism is being "Immortalized in Sound". When I leave this body, my soul lives on in the music.
Each song provides a new platform for a different thought, emotion, message, and story.
It feels good to perform in front of others, to express how I feel live, just the beat in the background or a homie playing guitar or drums, just catching the vibe. Each time a new high is reached.
Reality is subjective. I just improve upon myself. Eithier we grow together or we grow apart.

I live in a rural area. Not much of a "Scene" here. Sometimes there are drum circles on the top of Mount Shasta.
Not sure, I suppose undiscovered qualities. I suppose setting yourself aside in an oversaturated "industry" can be hard, however, I feel being different and expressing yourself is a good idea. Some artists only get real recognition when they are dead.
