From the makers of self doubt, lost love and the scent of autumn leaves comes multi-instrumentalist Greg Francis; a suburban NY native with the soul of a heartland transplant. Originally a drummer, Greg spent time behind the kit supporting singer/songwriters, indie bands and more recently a progressive hard rock band. But, from an early age Greg was determined to write his own songs. Largely self taught, he first began plunking out his own ideas on acoustic guitar and honing his songwriting craft at the age of 13. Finger-picking would become his strength and style of choice and by his mid 20's he would have a group of his own, albeit unfinished, songs in the works. All of that time, dedication and persistence culminated in his July 2013 self produced release - Postcards & DNA. For 2018 I had big plans to record my next release consisting of at least 5 or 6 tunes and did actually begin the process but early this year it turned out that a baby was on it's way! Plus the sale of my previous home and a move to the country SO my big plans for a new release are on hold as of now BUT I do plan on releasing something new very soon so stick around.
