He has also performed with famous artists like Eric Gales, Chris Duarte, and Pat Travers. Steve Heter has been performing in local rock bands for over 30 years, while Jeff White has also been performing for decades in various bands. Together, the band has an ever-growing song list of covers that includes classics from the likes of Dolly Parton, Garth Brooks, and Don Williams, as well as modern hits from the likes of Chris Stapleton, Luke Combs, and Miranda Lambert. The band's musical style is a cross between traditional country with a bit of rock and blues. Influences for Pettipaw Country include Brad Paisley, Whitey Morgan & the 78's, Cody Jinks, Gretchen Wilson, and Miranda Lambert. The band likes to involve the audience with audience participation and create memorable moments for the audience to look back on and remember. Pettipaw Country has its own PA and lighting systems, an in-house marketing/PR team, and uses a dB Meter to set the levels for every venue they perform. The band is currently booking shows for 2023 and is preparing to record their debut album. Music is our way of hopefully making some ones day better. It gives us pleasure to perform and make people smile and have fun.
Of course we would love to be signed and touring as just about any band would but we just love to play and perform.
Not sure, we'll have to think about this one a bit.
We all have different songs and they vary widely.
Brad Paisley, The Steel Woods, Cody Jinks, 49 Winchester, Whitey Morgan and the 78's, Gretchen Wilson, and so many more
Life. Everyday something inspires us to write or record or perform music.
Life is short, make the most of it, do as much as you can with the time you have.
Energized, the more the crowd is into it the more we feel energized and pushed to perform better.
This is another one we have to think about. Todays reality for musicians and music is so different.
So far so good.
Booking shows. We do our own booking and it's frustrating dealing with "some" club owners/talent buyers.
Yes, we try to go see all the local bands we can when we are not performing, whether we are at home or on the road.
You have to have something memorable and catchy that people can sing along with or that will create a memory for them in some way.
You've probably heard of them but: Ward Davis, Robert Jon & the Wreck, Sugarcreek, The Dead South, Railbenders, Mickey Lamantia, Vincent Neil Emerson.
