Known for their specific brand of extreme music "grindpunk", Gomorrahizer released their Debut Album "Pseudo god Induced Cephalgia" in August 2010 which was heavily supported by touring and local shows in the Cleveland area. Using pop culture sucker punches as ammo, the 3 piece band fronted by their drummer on extreme gutteral/screaming vocals is fast, loud and intense! When I saw them in Pittsburgh PA in September of 2011, the band took the stage. Drummer/Vocalist "Ammo Doom" introduced the name of their first song in a demonic screaming voice, fans quickly crowed up closer to the stage. The band starts off with a nice hook intro, fans shake their fists in time with the music yelling "Spit Cup!" Bassist and backup vocalist "Zilla Doom" and Guitar player "Terrorizer" begin kicking manikin heads off of the stage into the crowd that is now pushing into each other kicking the heads around and then tossing them back on the stage for the band to kick back to them! After about 30 mins of blurring energy and some guy starting his hair on fire their set comes to an end. Ammo stands up from behind his minimalist looking drum set and thanks the crowd (in his normal speaking voice). They pack up their instruments and homemade spray painted backdrop while fans return manikin heads to the stage. What a show! -Merci Nichole
