Currently engaged as a bassist for a 90's era classic rock band doing music by Stone Temple Pilots, Foo Fighters, Alice in Chains and the like. Working hard at it and having fun. What is music to you? What does it give you?

Music is the fabric of my life. It rounds me out and gives balance to the stressors of modern life.

What is your music dream?

To be a musician that other musicians appreciate.

If you could change the world - what would you start with?

I start with the first stranger that I meet, eye contact, a smile, acknowledgment that no matter their status in life, that there's basic human respect.

Which is the most memorable song from your childhood?

My memory goes to the back tot he mid-sixties and discovering Simon and Garfunkles "Homeward Bound" and choosing that as my own.

Who are your favorite musical artists or bands?

This varies day to day, week to week, and year to year and flow with my moods. I set no limits by genre.

What inspires you to make music?

It is those moments when the muse sits in and something new and delightful emerges.

What is the message you want to send with your music?

Just be. Let go. Have fun. Be good to one another.

How do you feel when you perform in front of an audience?

Exuberant.

How do you see the musicians’ reality nowadays? What could be improved?

A lot has changed in my lifetime. Venues are not what they used to be. On the plus side, the digital revolution has given more access for people to exercise their creativity.

What do you think of Drooble?

Too early too tell.

What frustrates you most as a musician?

Living in a backwater town and a lack of educated musicians to engage with. There is so much mysticism about making music that usually overlooks the fact that much of it is attained through hard work and dedication.

Do you support your local scene as a fan? How?

I donate to youth music organizations and get out to see shows as much as possible.

What qualities should a musician nowadays have in order to get their music heard by a larger audience?

Persistence is the mother of success.
