What is music to you? What does it give you?

I used to say "Making a song is like inhaling images and sounds and exhale lyrics and melodies.". Music is everything I hear and feel. It's my medicine. And my songs are medicine for others. It's a continuous exchange of positive energy.

What is your music dream?

Well. I'm not so young and I come from another concept of music dream. As a young man, I was an Italian rapper trying to spread good messages. I wanted to hear my songs on each radio station. That's all. Nowadays, I'm an international singer-songwriter with the same dream :)

If you could change the world - what would you start with?

The world is beautiful the way it is. I wouldn't change it. I'm trying to protect it. Hey, that's another superhero dream! We need a lot of human beings to protect the world. I love human beings. I just don't like people's behaviour. As I was saying... music has the power to change people perspective. Radio stations should broadcast good messages through the music. It will educate the new generations to respect each other and to respect the world.

Which is the most memorable song from your childhood?

I started to love music when I was 6. Lintening for the first time "Heartache tonight" by the Eagles. But 2 songs in particular.... It was 1986 when I heard "Rumors" by Timex social club. That song made me write my first rhyme as a young rapper. It was 1991 when I heard "End of the road" by Boyz to Men. That song made me sing for the first time.

Who are your favorite musical artists or bands?

Eagles, Boyz to men, R. Kelly, Brian McKnight, LL Cool J. Naughty by Nature, Craig David, Tracy Chapman. I love some of the new artists like Drake and The Weeknd.

What inspires you to make music?

Everything I hear and see. You know, I'm a photographer too. Sometimes while I'm taking pics, what I'm seeing gives me the input for a melody or a phrase.

What is the message you want to send with your music?

Nothing can be done right if there's no respect. If you are singing for someone, make sure you are trying to help with your words. This is what we need today. Hopefully we will sing more funny songs in the future. But if you sing something to distract people from the problem, you become part of the problem.

How do you feel when you perform in front of an audience?

I performed on every kind of stage. I sang in small theatres for children. And I sang on big stages beside Italian famous singers. It felt like home. I felt I was totally myself. It doesn't matter if your house or apartment is big or small. You're home. You're free to be yourself when your house is full of people and when you're alone writing a new song.

How do you see the musicians’ reality nowadays? What could be improved?

A musician is never seriously treated as somebody who works, until he becomes popular. To me, a job is something we do to improve society. Music is part of our life since forever. Some people get rich doing negative jobs ruing others life. So, the word "Job" needs to be reviewed. Here in Italy, In the club, pub.. You don't get paid that much anymore. If you're very good and lucky, you can play your favorite instrument for the next x factor "Idol". If you are a singer... other solution other than x factor ?

What do you think of Drooble?

I just found it I already like it. The interview.. good idea ;) It seems different from the other socials.

What frustrates you most as a musician?

When I work on songs for months, investing a lot of time and money, then I release my tracks but I can't promote like I'd like to. Too much money to invest. Then radio stations will not broadcast my song because they put on record labels products. That's it.

Do you support your local scene as a fan? How?

I support artists I like. It doesn't matter where they are from. I learned to search for new artist sometimes. When I really like them, I share their songs on line. I treat them just like stars. I talk to my friends about them and their music. I think we all should be like a talent scout. It's mentality. People get what the industry give. Just like citizen when they get what the politicians give.

What qualities should a musician nowadays have in order to get their music heard by a larger audience?

For the industry, You gotta be a good looking young marketing operator. Be great in the interview and don't forget to talk about sex using the work "Fuck" in each sentence. The music doesn't matter. A musician is an invisible human being nowadays. It depends by the genre. If you're a country musician in the right location, You will have fun. Because the industry, If you're over 35 you are expired. It doesn't matter if you're great for some people. The industry will not allow you to rich a larger audience. The audience should freely look for new music Because the musician, producing and droping new tracks, It's leaving signs of himself to be found.

Share some awesome artists that we’ve never heard of.

Justin Garner (Contemporary r&b) from Louisiana I think he's got the Usher style but he has the potential.. Mika Newton (Pop) from California Beautiful Tone of voice and range. In the next days I'll listen to some artist here on drooble. Hey.. I'll upload my songs too :)))
