My name is Gee and I make music non stop. Sometimes, it's release worthy and sometimes it sits in my cloud until I figure out what to do with it. Music is truly the one thing I am most passionate about next to my kids and kindness. My music will touch on everything I'm feeling, rather it is a happy day or an insecurity. Either way, I hope you get something from it ^^

What is music to you? What does it give you?

Music, to me is water. I need it to survive, it can cure many ailments, it has healing properties, it regulates. Without water, I would die. Music quenches the thirst of the soul.

What is your music dream?

I want others to hear my music and find something within it they didn't know they needed.

Who are your favorite musical artists or bands?

I respect any artist willing to put their emotions and insecurities on display in hopes that it might reach someone. My favorite artists are people who reflect this. I love everything from The Carpenters to BTS and in between.

What inspires you to make music?

People, life lessons, moments that cannot otherwise be defined.

What is the message you want to send with your music?

Music is in all of us and in everything. I hope that my music can be there for someone in their darkest and brightest moments, holding their hand.

How do you feel when you perform in front of an audience?

Terrified, alive and real

How do you see the musicians’ reality nowadays? What could be improved?

I think that we are all growing in our way and we are doing what we can with whatever we can. Sure, things could be improved but that will never change. I think musicians and artists have come a long way and we are still climbing. We will find ways to improve but lets enjoy the journey because it's those moments that make it all worth it.

This site seems pretty cool so far. I am new here so I'll update this after I've gotten used to it ^^

What frustrates you most as a musician?

Lack of opportunity and the "it's who you know" "you don't find them, they find you" mentality. I think talent is talent and not just for myself but for every artist, we deserve opportunity and not just because by some grand accident, it happened to find our door.

Do you support your local scene as a fan? How?

I want to and I will after this pandemic but I do what I can online with streaming, promoting and sharing the artists I love.

What qualities should a musician nowadays have in order to get their music heard by a larger audience?

Be real
