I Love music. I listen to music everyday. For me music is a way to express myself, a way to relax, It's fun and I love it. For me it all started in 2019 when I started listening to Metallica, Megadeth and Motley Crue and in July of 2020 I listened to the songs "Practice What You Preach" by Testament and "The Hunter" by Dokken, and that was the moment I said "I'm going to play guitar". Since then these two songs have remained my favourites along with the guitar players George Lynch and Alex Skolnick. Initially I wanted to play the drums or the bass guitar, but I think I made a good choice with guitar. Though I'd love to play drums haha.
My dream? Well my dream is to play with a band, gig regularly and make a living off of it. My ultimate goal is to release albums, play festivals, arenas and stadiums all around the world with music I love and a good bunch of people around me. Rock On!
An interesting question haha. I would start with music funnily enough. Organize concerts and bring music and the joy of it to people all around the world while helping with the problems of society.
Well I listened to a lot of music even in my childhood. There are two songs in particular that are special to me one of them is Dire Straits - Walk Of Life and the other Limp BIzkit - Break Stuff. Two polar opposites haha. "Walk Of Life" reminds me of a time when I was 5 years old and my uncle was playing it in the car a lot with my cousins. "Break Stuff" got me through the 7th grade to be honest. I would listen to the song everyday and it is such a fun song. Brings back fun memories.
There are many! But the ones that made the biggest impact on me are: Megadeth, Dokken, Testament, Metallica, Skid Row, Opeth, Jason Becker, Andy Timmons and Steve Vai.
The love of music. The message. The impact it can make on someones life. That's what inspires me to make music, I love music, I love listening and playing it and I love seeing others enjoy the music that I make.
Haven't really thought about the messages in my own songs haha. But I want to make people feel good, believe in themselves, have fun and create great memories!
I haven't performed in front of people that I don't know or to a big crowd, but still the feeling when you play something that is liked by people is amazing. It's so cool seeing someone (even if you know them personally) watch you play and cheer for you.
Well the reality for musicians isn't all pink and pretty, but still you can put yourself in a good position. I think that the modern musical landscape of following a formula for artists is boring and uninspiring. What happened to the days when even the big labels let the artists evolve and experiment, try to find their own even if they weren't successful. Those days are long gone and the industry wants to produce artists that sound and look the same, it has lost it's identity. Of course there are exceptions nowadays and for every era, but that's how I feel about the musicians' reality nowadays. You can be original, but thrown in with a bunch of lookalikes. it's a tough business.
Honestly the idea for the platform Drooble is amazing and I hope it evolves even more!
Ideas that you can't express. Sometimes there are frustrating moments when you have an idea, but you just don't know how you are going to play it or continue it. And of course the times when you can't think of anything. It's so frustrating!
To be honest, I haven't been really involved in my local scene. But when I find good band or artists that are from my country I give them a listen, leave positive reviews for their songs and tell people about them.
Good question. A lot of musicians are worried about their skill level on their instruments, but you can be the best guitar player, bassist or singer and don't have any skills in marketing your product. The modern musician should focus a lot on studying the business, promotion and everything in marketing.
Wow, okay. There are many. I'd like to start with some awesome older bands/artists that aren't really recognized by the public. The "Oldies": Dirty Looks, Fiona, Babylon A.D., Baton Rogue, Hericane Alice, Femme Fatale, Saraya, Bang Tango, Circus Of Power. The "New(er) ones": Eufobia, Symbolic, Bombshell Boys, Muddy Magnolias, Sammy Boller, Nestor
