Geoff Moore

Just Me

Was a professional Southern Gospel tenor for almost 20 years when I had a heart attack while performing in Mt. Juliet Tennessee. Battled a few lung infections and stayed quiet for 10 years. Started coming back this last year with my first CD released in June of 2017 married on October 1, 2017 and have a new CD coming out in April 2018. My whole attitude and stance on music has changed and no longer sing only Gospel music. While I still have a few vocal issues I am slowly working through them and will soon be better than ever. I thank everyone that has helped me in the past but my undying thanks and love will be to my Beautiful wife because without her inspiration I never would have given music a second chance. And I thank everyone of you that left the radio on and listened to me you can always follow me on fb @ http://facebook.com/iamgeoffmoore/ we are always looking for people to join and share their experience's in music. We have a number of followers from all over the world.

What is music to you? What does it give you?

Music is the only thing that has ever relaxed me, it is where I am most comfortable

What is your music dream?

my music dream when I was younger was to be a platinum selling artist, but that is hard to do in Southern gospel music now that I am older and trying new areas my only dream in music is to have fun, make enough money to put bread on the table and pray people enjoy what I am doing.

If you could change the world - what would you start with?

world leaders, I have so many friends from all over the world and not once has any of us threatened the other. You get rid of world leaders you get rid of hate and discord throughout the world.

Which is the most memorable song from your childhood?

I wanna rock and roll all night by KISS

Who are your favorite musical artists or bands?

Travis Tritt, merl Haggard, Willie Nelson, The Scorpians, The Eagles, Journey, The Gaither Band, Jimmy Swaggart, Lew Dewitt, Jimmy Fortune, Roy Orbison, all the old time Southern Gospel groups

What inspires you to make music?

It used to be God that was my inspiration, but since I was struck down while performing for him my wife is my inspiration now, at least if she is going to strike me down it won't be quite as painful. My wife has stuck with me through some pretty rough times before she was my wife and could have ran. She is all the inspiration I will ever need

What is the message you want to send with your music?

it's not about anything, just learn to love everyone forget our differences our cultures, music is one thing that brings us all together and we could use a lot more unity today than we have in the world.

How do you feel when you perform in front of an audience?

when I first get on stage, you are lucky I don't get sick, crowds have always scared me, but once I get going Katie bar the door cause we're going to have a ball

How do you see the musicians’ reality nowadays? What could be improved?

oh I do not want to touch this question

What do you think of Drooble?

I don't know what to think just yet.

What frustrates you most as a musician?

other musicians, they all know more than I do

Do you support your local scene as a fan? How?

See as many local groups as I can when in town

What qualities should a musician nowadays have in order to get their music heard by a larger audience?

Just do your thing and don't take no for an answer, Musicians get knocked down all the time, feelings get hurt, it's what you do when you get back up that matters. Everyday is a test and it does not discriminate only person holding you back is yourself.

Share some awesome artists that we’ve never heard of.

Twiddle, Matt Boone, Donia Anis,
