I'm a published hymnwriter - they are in one collection in the UK and one in the US - and was one of the BBC Radio 2/local radio hymnwriters of the year in 2007 ... the last time the BBC ran the contest. Primarily I'm a lyricist but occasionally compose tunes, usually when I'm writing a song rather than a hymn. My plan is to extend into non-church music and I have written some lyrics.
