As an independent producer, he worked along with the local underground hip hop acts and rock bands all over Malaysia by engaging song collaborations, remixes and produces instrumental beats for MC/rappers. He produced his original tracks and had performed live in several local events alongside the local rappers and DJs. Also known as the ‘hook’ singer as he often composes and sings the chorus in his instrumental beats. He produced most of his songs with FL Studio alongside with hardware like Korg Electribe and some midi controllers. He had been nominated in several categories and had won in Anugerah Carta Borneo Era FM Sarawak (Best Lyrics) in 2012 for the song ‘Harapan’, and Silver Award in VIMA (Voice of International Music Award) Malaysia in 2014 (Best Genre Bender) for the song ‘Lagu Ini Hanya Untukmu’. Retired from performing live, he decided to continue his music career as a exclusive songwriter, now assigned with Warner/Chappell Music (Malaysia), composing original songs for other artistes, globally.

The social impact towards realism and alter egos. The real person is much better than they alter egos.

What do you think of Drooble?

Something new. I hope it will last and becoming a better platform for musicians like us.

What frustrates you most as a musician?

Chances, bias, no platform to promote music locally, always heard the same bunch of people, no new faces in the community yet not even trying to outreach.

Do you support your local scene as a fan? How?

Yes, Buying CDs, T-shirts, going to gigs and events

What qualities should a musician nowadays have in order to get their music heard by a larger audience?

Sense of exposure, word of mouth and YouTube, viral
