Hope Darling is an alternative/modern rock band based in the Tampa Bay area. With musical tastes and backgrounds ranging from classical to blues to rock to reggae and hip-hop, Hope Darling combines the very best of alternative and modern rock while entertaining and captivating audiences with their sincerity and drive. Formed from within the local Tampa Bay Area music scene, Hope Darling has had the privilege of ultimately performing on national stages throughout the United States. This Indie rock 5-piece band gathered it’s musical backgrounds and influences from classical to blues to rock to reggae and hip-hop. Writing and crafting music with meaningful and emotional lyrics, melodic hooks, and rock anthem instrumentals, create and forge the signature sound that is Hope Darling.Hope Darling has been a top rated Reverbnation artist, performing all over Tampa Bay and national stages, most notably as the opening band for the 2015 97X Next Big Thing concert and have been 3 time finalist for the annual Hard Rock Rising competition.Hope Darling continues to play in festivals around the country recently at the 2019 SXSW music week in Austin, Texas.Their hit single Lifeline is played in over 75,000 TouchTunes jukebox locations across North America and Europe after they were nominated as a Breakout Band in 2016. Their music has received radio play locally, nationally and most recently on SE Asia airwaves.Their song "Lifeline" grabbed the attention of Spike Lee and now airs on his Netflix series "She's Gotta Have It" Season 2 that premiered in May 2019.
