Story

I have been drumming since about 1974. I spent decades playing in bands onstage before discovering the digital world, and then the net, and from there online music collaboration. Anymore I am a producer first, and I work in, writing, arranging, production, mix/master, and even video editing. Around 1998 I started an online music collaboration group, which still is going strong today. It started out on ICQ. I recently started a mix/master group where we learn and teach together. I have created a one of a kind template for comparrison, and discussion of mixes. You really must see this.

Medicine. Gives me an emotional outlet.

I am living it now. Creating with my friends. It's a great platform for friendship.

What frustrates you most as a musician?

Egos. The pecking order. If the only reason a person wants to get good is so they can look down on others, I just assume stay down here with the little guy.

Do you support your local scene as a fan? How?

I don't drink anymore so not in a bar. Festivals maybe.

What qualities should a musician nowadays have in order to get their music heard by a larger audience?

Good attitude. The rest will come if you have that.

Dirge K. That's a stage name and she was tormented, but the soul of this young lady just jumps out as she sings. She is deceased now.
