What is music to you? What does it give you?

Music makes me happy...most of the time...It's a personal thing.

What is your music dream?

To make a consistent living off of the creations I develop.

If you could change the world - what would you start with?

The way people treat themselves and each other.

Which is the most memorable song from your childhood?

Any title coming to mind seems forced. What ever it is, it's wandered off somewhere in my subconscious.

Who are your favorite musical artists or bands?

I don't really have favourites, I have moods that lend themselves to different preferences. I respect a lot of people, though, I suppose I've always been more concerned with becoming my own favourite person.

What inspires you to make music?

A constant search for meaning, understanding and connection.

What is the message you want to send with your music?

It's important to be yourself; fight for the freedom of your expression and the rights of others to be free.

How do you feel when you perform in front of an audience?

If I can get past the self-consciousness the world falls away and I'm left with the friends I'm playing and connecting with.

How do you see the musicians’ reality nowadays? What could be improved?

I only know my reality as a musician. I wouldn't wish to assume the reality of others.

What do you think of Drooble?

So far it seems like a cool musicians facebook where people actually seem genuinely interested in the work of others...that's pretty alright in my books.

What frustrates you most as a musician?

I'm often frustrated as a human, which is probably a concern in and of it's self; a repeated lesson to practice patience. If I had to choose one peeve as a musician, it would have to revolve around my annoyance with marketing and promotion that claim rampant mediocrity as creative, special, or even genius. I can't be convinced every pretty performer is an artist solely due to a strong effort, especially if they aren't the prevailing creative force.

Do you support your local scene as a fan? How?

I support my friends and those who support me...I'm in support of those who give me reason to believe in them. I would also hope that I give others reason to support and believe in me as well.

What qualities should a musician nowadays have in order to get their music heard by a larger audience?

I think the only factors that have ever mattered to musicians are the courage to speak from within, the determination to your craft, honesty to others and the perseverance to continue no matter the difficulty.
