Hi I am a singer-songwriter who writes copious amounts of lyrics, mostly do my own thing, love the blues and rock music. Write, record and produce my own stuff in my purpose built home recording studio. Not a great guitarist but can sing the shit out of most things.
It is a major part of my life, it gives joy, satisfaction and a deep sense of creation. The satisfaction of the creative process is right up there as a life achievement.
To keep enjoying creating and making music and I hope at least one of my grandkids finds that same joy.

Emotional, but it’s been a long time since I did a live gig.
Easier than ever to make music and get it out there, but it must be hell trying to make a living at it. Fair payment for the creative endeavour that goes into writing, recording and producing music. I believe streaming is an artiste’s nightmare. The revenues are far too much in the favour of the industry and not the musician.
So far ... pretty cool. It feels a lot like early SoundCloud but better.
Inability to play lead guitar.
Yes. Go to gigs. Buy the music, not streaming.
Belief and perseverance. Life is not a bloody reality show like the voice or X factor et al.
