Story

There really isn't much to say. I started playing the guitar at the age of nine, and never looked back. Actually, my story isn't that simple (truth to tell). It wasn't until the summer of 1988, when I was 13 years of age, that I decided to take music and guitar playing very seriously. It was right around that time that I was first introduced to the pentatonic scales by guitarist and private instructor John Galbraith. The modes spoke to me and, after enough practice, I was able to piece together my first blues riffs. Here I am now doing things with my music I once thought were impossible. I'm grateful to G-d that I have been given a medium in which I can inspire and entertain people the best I can.

What is music to you? What does it give you?

A world of beauty, engagement, and hope. Music fills my life with tremendous joy, and purpose, while serving as a constant reminder that we are all connected to the universal language of grace.
