Greeting, This is Troy from ENTITIES. Entities are a group of two, featuring PORTAL & FocusWithFlo. We came about when PORTAL was looking for a female vocalist. I happened across a super talented one named FocusWithFlo. I reached out to her and she agreed to do a collaboration with me. The resulting song was a great success, so we decided to form a group of our own. And here we are. Entities. We are here to share with the world some amazing, original music. What is music to you? What does it give you?

Music gives me the freedom to express multiple emotions from deep within my mind. It is a personal Diary for me. Whenever I listen to our music, It brings back the emotions I had at the time of recording. So I live my live and past through our music. Hopefully it can do the same to you.

What is your music dream?

To continue working with my amazing, talented vocalist, FocusWithFlo. I don't have many dreams, but the ones I have are being made into fruition... Please stay with me... :)

If you could change the world - what would you start with?

To flood the ears of everyone with our music. Or just music in general. I think with music, mountains can be moved.

Which is the most memorable song from your childhood?

Mine is Guns N Roses, Sweet Child O' Mine. It was the first song I ever learned to play on the guitar, and boy was it a challenge.

Who are your favorite musical artists or bands?

Radiohead, Sasha & Digweed, Quivver, Death In Vegas, Fluke, Shpongle, Juno Reactor, Dave Seaman, John Graham, And many many more.

What inspires you to make music?

Now... Our vocalist inspires me to write music. Plus whatever life throws at me.

What is the message you want to send with your music?

That happiness can be achieved through music. The power of sound has great impacts on the emotions and brain activity within us. I believe that music has the ability to move entire feelings. That is what I want to achieve in our music.

How do you feel when you perform in front of an audience?

Like a God. I have total control over the crowd, whatever I am playing reflects the audience. I make them move as one. We are all as one when I play live.

How do you see the musicians’ reality nowadays? What could be improved?

More original tracks. Stop copying other peoples music, and call it your own. Be original and be not afraid to take risks with your music.

What do you think of Drooble?

I think Drooble is a great platform to meet other musicians similar to you. I've found people to collaborate with on here. It just need to be updated is all. It's almost like Drooble team have disappeared.

What frustrates you most as a musician?

When a mix just isn't mixing properly.

Do you support your local scene as a fan? How?

Of course. I've always supported my local scene. I've been there from the beginning, so us Electronic artist need to stick together. And we do! Esp in New Orleans.

What qualities should a musician nowadays have in order to get their music heard by a larger audience?

Be original and take risks. Put your music on every platform you can or afford. It really makes a difference in who is hearing your music.
