Endnotes Music

Story

Endnotes were formed when songwriter and guitarist Nick Tyson teamed up with singer and guitarist Kris Moore in 2015. Working together the duo created a repertoire of original, highly emotive, songs, in a folk/Americana style. Their debut album “While the World Sleeps Easily”, recorded in 2017, might be considered a ‘cathartic concept album’ according to Nick, who had specifically written many of the songs with Kris’s own struggles with cancer in mind. Its ten carefully crafted songs include reflections on love, life and hope, as well as a few unavoidable dark moments, woven with some beautiful melodies and intricate guitar work. Early in 2018, the band’s line up expanded to include Richard Croome (bass) and Nick Neale (drums), with all 4 band members contributing vocals and being involved in the creative process. The band are recording their second album and hope to capture the exciting mix of musical styles that characterise their live performances. There are plenty of opportunities to catch Endnotes live in the coming months at venues and festivals around their home region of East Anglia and beyond.
