What is music to you? What does it give you?

Music is integral to my being and lyrics go hand-in-hand with that. It's an involuntary thing and it seems to be in my veins. pulsing away and surging every so often. It gives me an outlet, pleasure, a reason to move. It opens up worlds of inspiration and longing and enables the meeting of countless souls via serendipity. I AM IN LOVE WITH IT.

What is your music dream?

Playing and recording with my Production heroes and doing club gigs around the world! Come oooon!

If you could change the world - what would you start with?

Er.... making everyone be nice to each other?!!

Which is the most memorable song from your childhood?

Van Der Graaf Generator - Killer.

Who are your favorite musical artists or bands?

Oh jeesh... c'mon!!!!! The list is insane... but here goes for starters: The Prodigy, Tom Misch, Delta Heavy, Nero, Flume, Prof, The Pharcyde, Calvin Harris, Family, Disciples, Fleetwood Mac, The Four Owls, Ice Cube, George Michael, Ocean Wisdom, Tove Lo, Loadstar, Van Der Graaf Generator, Bachman Turner Overdrive, Sade, David Bowie, NAO, Mike Oldfield, Jam Baxter, H.E.R, Hudson Mowhawke, Jetpack Assassin, K-Flay, Craig David, Kaytranada, Aluna George, Disclosure, Mariah Carey. Ravyn Lenae, Eric Clapton, Dizee Rascal, Robots with Rayguns.

What inspires you to make music?

I think number one answers that. I can't help it.

What is the message you want to send with your music?

I don't really mind what people read into it. I'm not sending messages..... apart from subliminally to the people the songs are about haha. :)

How do you feel when you perform in front of an audience?

I vibe off it and love it. The adrenaline rush is pretty unique and the buzz afterwards is like nothing else. that's why we all do it, right? I prefer to be dancing with everyone - to be in the thick of it.

How do you see the musicians’ reality nowadays? What could be improved?

It's tough but you just have to keep making dope records and you can't go wrong.

What do you think of Drooble?

I like it! Not a pro yet....

What frustrates you most as a musician?

The changing face of the industry and how tough it is to make a living unless you're gigging to big numbers live. (And the cost and resources associated with making that a reality).

Do you support your local scene as a fan? How?

Kind of... my local scene is pretty scarce! If I like it, I'll make time. I share the wealth when appropriate.

What qualities should a musician nowadays have in order to get their music heard by a larger audience?

Resilience. But we all know us creatives get knocked and then that's when our best shit happens. HA! Don't fix it... it ain't broke.

Share some awesome artists that we’ve never heard of.

Jetpack Assassin and Scout 22, Van Der Graaf Generator, Family (and Roger Chapman).
