What is music to you? What does it give you?

Music is an art that stimulates all of your senses, and can invoke deep emotions and bring you into other worlds. Playing music gives me positive energy and is an outlet. I can get lost in playing or singing and express myself through playing, singing and movement....

What is your music dream?

To create mythical ethereal worlds for people through my music

If you could change the world - what would you start with?

Discrimination against people for race, religion, subculture choice, and hatred and discrimination within these communities. It is this aspect of othering which has a knock on effect of creating wars, nations hating one another.

Who are your favorite musical artists or bands?

Blackmore's Night, Inkubus Sukubus and Loreena Mckennitt are my biggest inspiration for my music. However, I love all kinds of music, from metal, folk, classical, rock, goth, renaissance and even some reggae

What inspires you to make music?

Folklore, Legends, Witchcraft, Ethereal beauty, Spirituality

What is the message you want to send with your music?

Deep within yourself, lies an enchanted world, which nobody has the power to penetrate or destroy...

How do you feel when you perform in front of an audience?

An amazing feeling

How do you see the musicians’ reality nowadays? What could be improved?

I think music has changed from prehistoric times, when music was created and available to everyone, to both play and enjoy, to nowadays where it is all about who can be the most technical, who has got the best voice, which band is the most popular. While being able to play is important, how technical you are should not be the be all and end all of being a musician. There is also a sense of hierarchy among musicians and egotism. People should celebrate and learn from one another, instead of trying to out do everybody and show off. Music should bring people together and not separate each other

What do you think of Drooble?

So far I love it! It is like a facebook for musicians without any drama, gossip or pointless posts such as what you had for breakfast or where you are going on your holidays. Have heard some great new music on here and it allows me to find other artists which can inspire me.

What frustrates you most as a musician?

How long it takes to really be good at your instrument! But hey, we never stop learning, do we?

Do you support your local scene as a fan? How?

I love our local scene and go to a lot of gigs in my town to support the local music scene and see bands who come from outside.

What qualities should a musician nowadays have in order to get their music heard by a larger audience?

I guess they need to network and promote themselves. It's a full time job getting your music heard!

Share some awesome artists that we’ve never heard of.

Myrkur, Qntal, Omnia, The Luddite Collective, Syd 31
