Music has always been what made the most sense to me; I have been singing since before my speech was coherent, and I picked up a guitar at 6 and never fell out of love. Years in the making, the debut album "Ugly" was released in early 2018. While I have performed on a good handful of stages most of my performance is done busking.
I had a hard time relating with people growing up, music kind if bridged that gap. I've never been the type to think before I speak, music gave me a means of communication I could fine tune before presenting. I could take as long as I need to say something simple and no one would be the wiser as long as I'd made my point.
I want people to connect with my music on the same level my I do with my favorite bands. I want to inspire people. Barring that, I'd just like to make a comfortable living doing what I love.

I definitely could not say that any song was "the most memorable". I listened to a lot of music growing up.
I wouldn't say any band is my favorite, too many artists mean too much to me. I will say that lately I'm listening to a lot of Shakey Graves, Alice Phoebe Lou, and Too Many Zooz
Understanding people, I think, has been my inspiration to make music. Sometimes my music is a commentary on some societal quirk, sometimes it's the dynamics of a certain relationship, sometimes it's just me analyzing myself, but the common theme seems to be an attempt at understanding people.
It swings pretty wildly from song to song. You could ask me what songs mean what to me, but I'd honestly rather you decide what they mean to you first.
Performing is the absolute most cathartic thing I can do, it puts me in the right headspace and makes the whole day that much better.
While it's never been easier to reach millions of people, it's also never been harder to hit your target audience. The market for music is oversaturated, and fewer and fewer people are digging deep into the internet for something new. This has caused the odds of being discovered without funding to drop significantly from the times of Myspace and early YouTube.
I'm not quite sure, yet.
Finding the right audience.
Absolutely! I try to find local artists that are worth their salt and attend their shows whenever I can, buy their merch whenever I can afford it. I also work security and FOH for local venues, though I'm not sure my dayjob counts as "support".
A bankroll and/or a hot body. Maybe some talent. Same as it's always been.
