Music is to me the main vehicle to express abstract ideas and stories; every song is like a movie and should move and transport the listener to imaginary places without moving physically.
Right here right now; Technology is so advance that we can create almost anything from home. That was my dream when I was a kid. Robots helping man to create.
Education first and then to make possible different cultures to interact with each other in a no regulated enviroment like Government or Religion. At the end we all are humans with the same basic needs.

Too many they change all the time but I will say guys who really change my mind could be Hendrix, Brian Eno, Pink Floyd, Clapton, The Beatles, Santana, Satriani, Jeff Beck, Zepp, Boston, Alan Parsons and so many more
Some times I can be dry of ideas for more than a week then I do a lot on my other business; But some days I just need to stop everything because I wake up (Usually very early in the morning with a song in my head) That is the moment of creation and is time to work hard to document that idea. Coffee, quick recordings of the idea and notes a lot of notes of the idea possible names and instruments to be played.
My music is made to make you think and imagine, to transport to places with your imagination. Instrumental music is amazing to create this. The fan get some clues like the name and then they create the story, amazingly sometimes their stories are the same than mines. =)
I don't play that much live...I did it a lot with many bands and is a real thrill. I miss it but in my present time is not possible. We use to joke that people clapping and cheering you is addictive.
We live over communicated times where rating is more important than quality and musicians must concentrate in create art and not products.
Nice idea; I have big hopes to really get a global penetration by sharing ideas and music.
Record Companies and all these corporate guys ripping off real musicians.
I go to local shows every time I have a chance and try to promote the bands I like.
1-Good songs 2-Recording those songs 3-A good production 4-Be able to balance music with personal life 5-Have a regular income until the music start paying off. (if that happens eventually) 6-Enjoy the ride.
I am so bad with names... I can tell you every were in the world there are great musicians we never hear from them. My new album Forgotten Prophets is related to that; about all the guys I had share projects illusions and bands and now I don't know where they are and what happen to them. My respect for all the weekend warriors.
