I am interested in creating music that uplifts people, including worship music and mood/ambient/progressive-type stuff. My influences are too many to mention, and I hope a little bit of all of the comes out in my music. I am interested in collaborating and possibly interested in joining a rock or blues band, particularly as a bassist, though only on a very part-time basis.
Music is the undeveloped gift God gave me, and my life purpose is to develop that gift.
I would love to run a small home studio capable of professional recording, mixing, and mastering so that I can make my musical ideas come to life.
Me.
Baker Street by Gerry Rafferty or Cold as Ice by Foreigner. Lots of songs from that era are stuck in my head, but one of those is the most memorable. Can't really decide which.
I really love Mikael Ackerfeldt. Both his songwriting and his guitar playing are incredible. I'd love to get his feel into my music. I also really dig the Cranberries as songwriters. But my favorites change with time. Who I'm really into now might not be who I'm really into tomorrow.
God.
Some music I would like to use to help others connect with God. Other music I'm not really interested in sending a message, but rather just producing something fun to listen to. I'm not really into vocals having to have meaning or anything like that outside of worship music.
It's alright. Not my favorite thing, but I'm comfortable with it. I've also had to do a bit of public speaking in my time, so that has helped my settle into my position on my worship team.
It will be increasingly difficult to make a lot of money with music. I think the best musicians will be those who aren't in it for the money but just want provide a product the people enjoy. To that end, more education on being your own songwriter and music producer would be great.
Dunno. Just started :)
Finding time to do what I want.
Not directly. I do enjoy watching shows put on by our local School of Rock.
Good question! When you figure it out, let me know :)
