I started the ebvoice cover lab project a couple years ago. Producing (vocals, instruments, mixing, and more) mostly Beatles covers, with plenty of other of my favorite artists in between. This is my hobby. This is my mid-life crisis. This is my sanity.

A need to give something back. And put a song in people's heads. Earworm generation.
Relax. Take a break from 10 meetings a day. Enjoy a song or two with people you love. Or take some time alone and hop inside your headphones.
A wave of calm followed by a rush of cold adrenaline followed by anxiety about multi-tasking followed by a sense of accepting fate.
Lots of mass produced meh across most genres. More indie artists need more exposure. It's a rare thing to find an artist with a new or different sound, something that doesn't fit an existing formula.
I think the karma concept, similar to Reddit's, is a strange and a little patronizing for a revenue stream, but I wish the folks behind the site luck.

Not really.
Have money. Have talent and/or looks. If not, build a talent and learn more about genetic engineering. Understand basic marketing concepts, including how to build your brand. Have a fundamental grasp of social media sites. Find a producer, agent, or other type of representative who will actively sell you and can promote your brand across multiple social media sites. Get a really large speaker, find a group of people, and play your music.
