What is music to you? What does it give you?

Relief, We all struggle daily from the norms of life. Everyone needs an outlet. Music for me is that outlet. It not only helps me but it also lets me reach out to others that may feel the same way I have in the past.

What is your music dream?

I'm not greedy. I just want to be able to afford my rent and bills off of my music and touring. My dream is to one day be able to make that happen.

If you could change the world - what would you start with?

I'm not sure about this one. Haha But if I had to give an answer... I'd say I would start with making sure everyone had a life that was sustainable. There are many that don't get the luxuries we take for granted.

Which is the most memorable song from your childhood?

I loved Santa Monica by Everclear. I would seriously sing it every time it would come on the radio. Funny to think that I ended up in a metal band.

Who are your favorite musical artists or bands?

Architects to me are a big influence because of the meaning behind their material. There's no bull**** when it comes to what they are saying. I really only like music that makes me feel something. They are one of the only bands that have that feeling in their music still and I love it.

What inspires you to make music?

Honestly I just love preforming. I like to just get all this animosity and anger out while at the same time putting on a show for peoples enjoyment. Its kind of a win-win situation if you ask me.

What is the message you want to send with your music?

The message is simple. Don't have a life and not live, Don't take s*** from anyone, And follow your passion. Sweet, simple and to the point.

How do you feel when you perform in front of an audience?

I feel like in that moment that there are no worries about life or whats going on. Its just a bunch of people in one place having a good time. Its probably one of the best stress relievers out there and at the same time you get compliments for basically pouring your heart out to people. And they don't judge you. They feel it too!

How do you see the musicians’ reality nowadays? What could be improved?

The limitations that have been put on musicians are just out of this world. It used to be that social media was a tool to connect to your audience. But now i have to pay to have my content viewed more? That's just insane. I've spent thousands of dollars on promotion, facebook ads, spotify playlist placement. All of that works... But the results are so low its almost not worth it. So the reality is you have to work more than your daily hours at your job just to get a little bit of notice. I feel like something could change with that. Take the limitations off or at least offer something a little less expensive. That's all I'm saying

What do you think of Drooble?

I think its a useful site. I would definitely make it my #1 for EPKs

What frustrates you most as a musician?

Not a lot actually. I guess the days where i'm not feeling "it" is pretty draining. I'd like to be able to push through that phase when it comes up but sometimes the mind just needs a break to come up with more creativity.

Do you support your local scene as a fan? How?

I really do what I can. I go to as many shows as possible but the scene is so spread out in the desert it can turn into quite a cluster****

What qualities should a musician nowadays have in order to get their music heard by a larger audience?

You need to stay ahead of the game. Look for all new ways to get your band out there. There is nothing wrong with reaching out to someone who you know is doing what is needed in the musician game.
