What is music to you? What does it give you?

Music gives me a great sense of achievement. Just being able to play about and find that sweet melody, then developing the rhythm and harmonies and everything else that goes with it. It draws out my creative instincts and time doesn't quite flow like it should when I'm jamming away.

What is your music dream?

To create my own musical content, start scoring for film, and to help others achieve the visions they have for their own productions.

If you could change the world - what would you start with?

Making all art forms free to observe for the masses!! No more hefty cinema/festival ticket prices, or costly gallery/theatre admissions. Just fair salaries to all forms of artist or media producer, and free admissions to local establishments and festivals, theatres, sporting events, etc. for everyone whether they're an artist or not. This of course wouldn't work so I won't be the one to change the world. :-P

Which is the most memorable song from your childhood?

'My Last Serenade' by Killswitch Engage

Who are your favorite musical artists or bands?

Killswitch Engage, All That Remains, Trivium (early stuff), Iron Maiden, Lamb of God, Cole Roland

What inspires you to make music?

Nothing ...yet everything... inspiration shouldn't have to come from a different entity to yourself.

What is the message you want to send with your music?

Whatever the message of that song is... Music is for the moment and should be soaked up however it's percieved, whether the intended message is percieved or not.

How do you feel when you perform in front of an audience?

Due to numerous mental health issues, I've never had the confidence to perform in front of mor ethan 1-2 people, even then I still feel anxious and mess up frequently under personal pressure. It is a bridgge I'm trying to cross.

How do you see the musicians’ reality nowadays? What could be improved?

Music has been shunned aside over the years due to the advancements of graphics and visualizations. Books are read, films/tv is viewed and music is observed unless it is a part of the first two. The same happens in schools... Teachers teach by audio and visual learning, yet problematic children tend to get jobs as mechanics, in industrial or general hard labour jobs. They usually learn by kinetic learning (by doing). It's a trend that that will only grow worse.

What do you think of Drooble?

Never used it before... Will update this if it allows me to later.

What frustrates you most as a musician?

Other 'musicians' that are too lazy to pick their instrument (which sits within their vicinity their entire time) and practice their trade after whinning countless weeks/months (/years) about how they aspire to be better at it!!!

Do you support your local scene as a fan? How?

Not at the moment, but I'm currently dealing with personal mental health issues... one thing at a time hey...

What qualities should a musician nowadays have in order to get their music heard by a larger audience?

High quality products, An inspired work ethic, Strong social media presence, A positive influence within the industry, Positive interactions,

Share some awesome artists that we’ve never heard of.
